What Causes Visual Hallucinations While Suffering From Cerebral Infarction?

my father a 62 year old has acute ischemic infarction in his right corona radiata last sep. 7, 2015 now he is saying and seeing things and situations that are not really happening that he seem so true im afraid he might be getting violent., is he becoming a psycho? he already can walk slowly. Please help
