Suggest Treatment For Aged Man Falling Off The Roof
hi my granda in 72 years old and takes warfarin, he fell approx 3metres of a garage roof he went to a&e they checked his limps and blood pressure and basic checks, he had bruisng on the back of his head, neck and back, he got sent home and got told to rest, should he of had a ct scan or xrays due to his age and medication?
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Any specific symptoms if present would only warrant further investigations. 2. Unnecessary exposure to x-rays should be avoided. 3. He must be strong and active as he does not have any injuries. However, if you are not sure, watch him for any disorientation or start of any new pains. If any disorientation or dizziness or loss of consciousness, take him to ER immediately. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
