Suggest Treatment For Aggressive Behavior In A Child

Hi, my son is 7 yrs old and myself and his father are really struggling with his behaviour, he has been a hand full from the day he was born. He seems so angry and cant remember things you have said, he never seems to to get tired and he finds it hard staying still. Example of his behaviour i took him to the park and when it was home time he starts screaming running away from me then he will band gate s kick doors and throw things. I cant get him to open up to me, we are finding it very hard to cope with i also have two other children two girls 5 years and 9 months. Thanks Emma.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

He might be suffering from oppositional defiant disorder or ADHD. Kindly take him to a developmental pediatrician / psychiatrist for evaluation. No need to worry. This will respond to behavioural therapy

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
