Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. A wheezy cough wont respond to allergy medicine. Itching will respond. But for cough I suggest you use an inhaler (Levolin or Asthalin) as rescue therapy..not on regular basis as you say its mild asthma. But the technique is very important in using an inhaler along with spacer. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
