Addiction Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

I cannot say in your particular case, but generally, elevation, ace wrap, avoiding moving it for at least 48 hrs. cold pack immediately and for the first 24 hrs, then warm deep soaks twice a day for 15 minutes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman, Addiction Medicine Specialist
