Suggest Treatment For An Elevated Part Of Skin Near The Navel

hi, i just saw an elevated part of my skin near my navel (on the right side). i palpated it but felt nothing serious. i had colonoscopy and endoscopy before but the doctor saw nothing but some shallow scratched-like surfaces. i'm worrying because we have a history of colon cancer. i'm not feeling any pain at the moment but this part of my abdomen near my navel (right lower quadrant) which has about an inch of skin elevation really bothers me.

dear have your family members suffering from colon cancer??dear umbilicus little elevation may normal varience .but if you observed enlarging skin elevation,or nodules around belly button or discharge from umbilicus you have to consult your doctor immediately.


family history screening required

Tier 1 tests consist of the following:

Colonoscopy every 10 years
Annual FIT
Tier 2 tests consist of the following:

CT colonography every 5 years
FIT–fecal DNA every 3 years
Flexible sigmoidoscopy every 5–10 years
