General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Over and above the prescribed antibiotics, I recommend following for early recovery of anal fissure induced by anal sex

- keep the part clean with antiseptic liquid and dry

- sitz bath with lukewarm water

- local application of xylocaine ( 2 % ) jelly

- avoid further anal sex

- bulk-forming laxative as ispaghula husk

- anti-inflammatory drug as ibuprofen ( 600 mg ) 3 times a day after meals

- avoid all spices, Non-veg

* Do get a periodic check-up with your consultant surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
