Suggest Treatment For Ankle Pain Inspite Of An Injury

Hi, I injured my ankle a month ago while playing with my nephews. Hit the outside of my ankle on the sidewalk. It was painful at first, but did not swell. I m still have some pain when I walk on it, and toes / calf occasionally tingle. What should I do?

Did you have an Xray? You could have possibly fractured your ankle which might explain your ongoing symptoms. The tingling could be as a result of a bruised nerve in the same region. If your symptoms are improving I would likely wait. Take an anti-inflammatory medication to help with the pain, some physiotherapy may also be of benefit.
