Suggest Treatment For Anxiety, Depression And Memory Loss In Mid-aged Women

My daughter-in-law has become very combative, has lost some weight and seems to have memory loss. She in the past has been diagnosed with anxiety and some depression. She has cut of contact with anyone and refuses to go to the doctor. My son has taken over trying to handle their two girls but she going into rages that we fear something is terribly wrong. What can we do

Hi.

The first step would be self-realisation, her symptoms are more inclined towards depression and she sounds like she really needs help, especially with having two young daughters at home. Counseling plus medications are the right way to help her, but getting to that stage will take time and a lot of hard work and support.
