Suggest Treatment For Arthritis

Hi, Im trying to find out what would cause reoccurring black bruising on an ankle. My friend works on her feet all day and about 2 years ago she sprained it. they said that after 6 weeks when the bruises wouldnt go away, that it was arthritis. She did have a cat scan. It seem to be getting worse and it is very painful. she is at her wits end and cant find an answer to what could be causing it. I have arthritis and nor I , or any of my doctors have ever seen that kind of bruising from arthritis. Im tryin to find a answer for her.

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us,

I have studied your case with diligence.

There is possibility of ankle arthritis.
You may need to do MRI and cartilage study.

If required you may need MRI ankle for soft tissue involvement.
Till time you can use supportive splint or brace and take analgesic.

Rash can be associated due to systemic illness.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
