Suggest Treatment For Autoimmune Disease When Suffering From Type Two Diabetes

I have type two diabetes. Recently raise red rash where lymph glands are, behind knees, under arms, and fronts of legs. Really bad on underside of wrists. These have been biopsied, and I don't remember name, other than I was told auto immune due to diabetic condition. Appeared to get some better with high doses of antibiotics when I had pneumonia. Beginning to look terrible, any cure?

Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

I would suggest you upload a picture of what you have

you see the issue remains that one needs to see exactly what you have
cause skin lesions need to be seen so as to diagnose them

And ofcourse the treatment varies with the diagnosis

since you have diabetes, the steroids should be avoided
ofcourse if they have to be given,
we need to monitor sugars carefully
and you will need to meet your diabetician more frequently
during the course of treatment

Get the follows tested
ANA
FBS/PPBS/HBA1C
ANCA

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above so i can be of help further. Best of luck.

I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.

Please do understand that some details could be extracted from a detailed history and examination.

Looking forward to your return query with the details asked so that I can help you further.
