Suggest Treatment For Back Pain And Knee Arthritis

I have really bad knee arthritis and need knee replacements in both knees. My knees are windswept. My right knee is bowed out to the right and causing pelvic instability. This leads to acute muscle spasms/pain in my right lower back. Severe enough to double me over and lead me to walk with a pain when it occurs. Then it is gone and I can walk upright again. This just keeps occurring throughout the day. I am now trying a tens unit. Any thoughts?

thank you for the question.Till you decide to undergo knee surgery, here are some steps you may undertake-1. Try to use a walker or walking stick which should be held in hand opposite your affected knee deformity, to take off the load to other side and thus prevent tilt of pelvis.
2. Take chloraxazone tabs 250mg twice a day after meals to keep muscles relaxed.
3.Do hot fomentation in spastic back
4.Paracetamol 650mg sos for pain
5. use physiotherapy and bilateral light ankle traction to prevent muscle contractures. This shall be good for post operative purpose also
