Suggest Treatment For Bed Wetting And Foul Smelling Urine
My son is nine and still having problems with bed wetting at night. However in the mornings his urine smells like sewage. He drinks approximately six glasses of water daily with no other symptoms of cloudy urine or pain when urinating. One thing I have noticed is that when he is up doing normal things, the second he feels the urge to go, he has to go running immediately. Is this something I should be concerned about?
I went through your details. If you are sure that you never noticed anything wrong with the urine color or other symptoms like burning sensations, itching etc, there may not be anything wrong. Children always know that they want to urinate at the brink of urge. Then they run. There is nothing abnormal about it.
Regarding bed wetting (enuresis) you should be able to train him for toilet practice. Set alarm for every two hours at night. On alarm you get up and wake him up and compel to urinate. Repeat every alarm. within a week your child should learn toilet practice.
