Suggest Treatment For Bleeding From A Breast Lump

Hi. Last week I found a lump on my left breast right next to my nipple. The area around the lump then hardened and it was painful for a while. Then a couple days ago the skin on the lump started to peel and today it started bleeding. What should I do?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It could be due to breast abscess. Wherever fluid is collecting, we need to drain it. First, we have to diagnose and treat accordingly. Since it needs direct examination, kindly consult your gynecologist. If it is not an abscess then it might need a breast scan also. Hence, visiting a consultant is better.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
