Suggest Treatment For Bloating Of Stomach And Constipation

Hello To cut the long story short I have have been suffering from stomach problems now since last October. Firstly I would randomly get very bad pains which would force me to cripple over and cry in pain. They were very low down near the top of my uterus. They stopped for about a month and resulted in me needing to rush to the toilet to empty my bowels upon eating or random intervals. Eventually this stopped. Now since the beggining of this year I have been suffering from bloating and constipation. I am seven stone and my weight would jump up a stone on the scales yet this is not fat. I would be constipated for up too a week. I had been prescribed laxatives and they wouldn t work. At one point prune juice did but my weight was still up on the scales yet I have most defiantly not gained fat and my belly would bloat after anything I eat whether I eat it slow or not. I really don t know what is wrong, . Now I am late on my period by about a month and I am not sexually active; I am sixteen years old and started my periods at the age of ten. Please could you give me any insight to what could be going on? Thank you so much!

Hello,
1) You have symptoms of bloating, diarrhea and intermittent constipation which suggest possibility of irritable bowel syndrome (mix type).
2) It can occur due to allergy to some particular food, some bacterial infection or sometimes reason could not found.
3) You need laxatives during period of constipation and identify particular food which develop these symptoms and avoid them
4) You might need colonoscopy to check out status of wall of intestine as in most patients intestinal wall would be reddened and swollen.
5) Constipation for a week is considered as an emergency and you should avoid to reach up to this point as it cause intestine to dilate with collected stool and also reduce movement of intestine
