Noted you have
blood in stool which needs investigation...
First rule out common causes...
Starting from piles by proctoscopic examination....
It might reveal piles , fissure or rectal ulcer if present....
Second severe colitis can lead it....
Stool examination done..
If shows pus cells also then dysentery might be cause....
For that antibiotic given like cefixime.
If show egg of ameba then
amebic dysentery is the cause....
For that ornidazole given....
Maintain hydration with lots of fluid and fruit juice....
Excess spicy food avoided...
If still cause not clear
colonoscopy done with biopsy for rule out causes like lymphicytic colitis ,
inflammatory bowel disease ,
microscopic colitis etc...
Keeping these in mind consult gastroentetologist...
