Suggest Treatment For Blood In Stool

Hello, Last night when I had a bowel movement, when I wiped I had some blood. Today, when I went to the bathroom, the same thing. It s not a lot like a menstruation. I have been under some stress from work, child issues, and having back surgery this coming week. Can the blood in stool be due to stress? Can it be a symptom of menopause? Thank you.

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
The blood in the stool indicates that you have bleeding in the intestinal tracts. This can be from the anal fissure, hemorrhoids, polyp in the rectum, cancer of the bowel and so on .
I would advise you the following:
Stool test on 3 consecutive days.
Tests of blood and urine.
Colonoscopy to confirm or rule out cancer of the bowel.
Once the diagnosis is done, the treatment will be easy to chart out.
