Hi, my name is Tim...I'm 17yrs old. Since middle school, I've had bloop in my poop, but it wasn't a significant amount so I made nothing of it. This morning while sitting on the toilet, when I released gas I guess, nothing but blood came out, the most that I've ever had. I don't feel any pain though, what should I do? I'm worried because I don't know if it's cancerous or something, I need answers.
As you mentioned you have problem of blood in stool that may be because of hemorroid problem or peptic ulcer or other reasons. Ulcerative colitis or diverticulitia may lead to blood in stool.
Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Detail history and investigation give exact idea about problems.
Don't think first about cancer... Special investigation like colonoscopy examination can done for further diagnosis. Start a treatment as per reason behind it..
I hope this will help you. Get well soon.. Thank you.
