hello doctor my name is david...i just came back from the gym some couple of minute ago and i decided to take a quick shower ,in that process i decided to pee and i notice something like blood coming out with the pee for the first time i will ever experience such and i became afraid..pls what is wrong with me

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
There are many causes of blood in urine.
Urinary tract infection, trauma, tuberculosis, cancer all can lead to blood in urine. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination and complete kidney function test as well as ultrasound abdomen.
This will give you exact diagnosis.
Then you should take treatment accordingly.

I really appreciate your concern, actually underlying cause for hematuria is main concern and this need to be treated like this could be urinary tract infection, stone, injury, prostrate enlargement, and for these you need to go under some test like x-ray and ultrasonography, hope this information helps have a nice day.
