Suggest Treatment For Blood In Urine

I had my prostate removed. A couple days ago I was bringing groceries in going up stairs, when I got to the top landing I felt tension in the surgery area, it didn t seem I hurt anything at the time but it s been three days, my urine has had some blood, my testicles seem tight and are sensitive, have some soreness in pubic area. What did I do? It s has been 2.5 weeks since surgery.

Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i can fully understand your concern.
Blood in urine may be seen, up to 4-6 weeks, after a prostate surgery.
It's the strain of climbing the stairs, that precipitated the bleeding.
First month after a TURP,(endoscopic prostate surgery), rest is advised.
As you've completed less than 3 weeks, there's nothing to worry.
If the bleeding doesn't stop, you should see your Urologist.
If you've restarted Aspirin/ clopidrogel, stop it at once and inform doctor.
Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
