I have been having blood in my urine off and on for a few weeks. About three weeks ago I noticed an oval sshaped lump protruding slightly in my lower right side of my abdomine, just slightly above the groin area. It became increasingly painful and sensitive and had a slight bruised look. I have had hernias before but not this low. One hietale hernia that tore and had to be fixed again. I traveled from california back to charlotte n.c last week to visit and take care of my grandkids part time, as one of my daughters had major surgury, husband has to work, so I made the trip. Its very hot here and Im sure I dont drink enough water, but...this morning I passed a small but painful kindney stone black in color. I been urinating 10 times a day and night with blood still in my urine. I am a retired firefighter, served in vietnam, worked for fabresa( mixing perfumes) and worked for space ordinace systems which deals with a variety of chemicals in a variety of stages..ei gases, solids etc... I smoke cigarettes,medicinal marijuana and drink alcohol ( the little airplane shooters )usaully whipped cream 99 proof schnapps. I occasionaly take over the counter pain relief such as aleve, as I have had tingling and numbness and burning in my feet for years. Now my feet and lower legs are swealed up alot and becoming discolored. I have had numerous surguries on my back. So back to the stone I passed....Is there more in my kidneys, in my bladder? Can I eat certain things to improve my symptoms. Can I use vibration therapy on my back or abdomine to break up the stone or relieve the pain? what do you think doc?
