Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation During Urination

I have a burning feeling at the tip when i am not urinating, but constantly needing to urinate. I have a girlfriend who i have been very sexually active with. I read up that its usually the female who figures out about stds before males and that males usually dont get uti. I then read up about a urologist telling a man with my same symptoms that it was because of too much sex or general rubbing. I still plan to go get checked but very curious to a educated opinion.

Hello

Burning sensation during urination may indicate urinary tract infection(UTI).
It is right that females are more prone to UTI due to short urethra but males also suffer from UTI.
You need proper clinical examination and routine investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,random blood sugar,renal function test,ultrasound of abdomen,urine RE/ME and culture/sensitivity.
Nitrite and leukocyte esterase test can be done for confirmation of UTI.

You may need to take full course of antibiotics.
You should drink plenty of water.

Get well soon.
Take Care
