Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In Abdomen
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...S. Ghosh : My dad (80 yrs) had a small gastric ulcer and a small polyp at lower end of easophagus.After treatment endoscopy in Dec,2009 shows no ulcer. Since there was occasional burning sensation, dad was prescribed with Mirtaz 7.5 mg, Razo 20 mg, lesuride od or Cintapro od since Jan,2010 till today. Still he is having occasional burning sensation in abdomen which lasts for approx 10-12 mins for 3-4 times a day. I need advice whether he should continue Mirtaz/Zosert 25 mg , as he has become less energetic ,sleepy and weak.

the given symptoms may be suggestive of hyperacidity and in my opinion this need to be treated with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day and Tab Domperidone 30 mg once in day and this is nothing to worry, take care.
