Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 45 year old woman. Even if there is a slight delay in my meal, I feel an onset of continual burping and that is followed by headache, which only paracetamol (Crocin Pain tablet) can fix. Recently I have started drinking a small cup of cold milk just before bedtime (which is said to relieve these symptoms) but have had only partial relief. Please let me know if there is any remedy by which I do not have to resort to medication and paracetamol or an analgesic.
Hello, Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query. You very well have recognized cause of your problem. Take small frequent diet. If you feel cold milk is doing good , you can take that twice a day. Avoid spicy food, tea, coffee , aerated, and alcoholic drinks. Drink lot of water. Hope this will help and you will not have to take medicines for the same for a long time. Good luck.
