Suggest Treatment For Chest Congestion And Fever In A Child

My son is 7years and his weight is 20kg every other week he had chest congestion with fever or with out it other than this some time only his nose his blocked or some times he had wheezing Doctor has prescribed him myteka so should i give him zyrtec also with it or myteka is ok ??

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

First, the wheezing cause has not been mentioned. Probable causes could be:
- Allergic bronchitis
- Asthma-like allergy inflammation

If needed spirometry and CBC can be done for that. Mostly it will be allergy inflammation so montelukast prescribed. Levocetirizine and montelukast combination drugs also available which can be prescribed If inflammation more. Provide your reports for giving more comment.
