Suggest Treatment For Child Born Without Testicles

Child born without testicles
can i get some useful information about child born without testicles?my 2 year old cousin has this problem.This is confirmed by doctor after a surgery.i have accessed to a few websites but there seems to be no reply.i really hope that i can get some relevant info from a doctor with that particular knowledge.Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

The concern would be that your cousin does have testicles but they are not in his scrotum but elsewhere in his abdomen or inguinal canals. They should be found by a CT examination for a two main reasons. If they are in an abnormal location then your cousin could be sterile as an adult. Testes in the abdomen have a higher risk of cancer occurring in them.
