Lots of puss came out. Now its the size of a penny, hard and swollen... even looks slightly bruised under the skin. What can I do to treat this?

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi,

It would be better if you upload an image - but by what you say I feel that it might develop into cellulitis and the kid might require antibiotic therapy with Clindamycin.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you.
