Suggest Treatment For Chronic Pain Despite Taking Tramadol

I m using Tramadol for pain relief, the nerve endings in my shoulder are damaged but I don t think they help I take 4 a day to keep the pain under control. Some days I might only take 2 and it doesn t seem to make a difference. On a scale of 1 to 10 most days it is about a 5,if it goes over that and I can t get it under control Icould take 8 and they do not help. Am I wasting my time taking them at all or should I talk to my Doctor about changing them. I don t want to take them if they don t work. ???????

Hi,

It will give relief and you have to wait or consult for change of medication. You can apply analgesic ointment and warm phomantation can be used. You can go for physiotherapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
