Suggest Treatment For Chronic Pain On The Testes

My son had bilateral hernia & hydrocele surgery 3 years ago. A year ago, November, he had exploratory scrotal surgery due to increasing pain/uncontrollable pain. No findings, including he does not have testicular appendixes, no torsion or cancer found. Since last November he continues to have chronic pain. His right greater than left testes. Over last two weeks, severe pain that doubles him over. Pain lasts longer & gets worse. Went back to MDx2 days ago. No tests but was put on antibiotic for possible epidyditimitis. Months ago had complete blood panel with no findings. Is 13 yo & has not hit puberty yet. Has had us when all first happened-no findings. Falls under-just will have to get through it. Has been to chiropractor as well with no findings x 6 visits. Any suggestions?? They want us to try acupuncture next. Should we seek new urologist?

Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Definitely a second opinion of another Urologist should always be sought.

I think your son needs exploration of the inguinal region to find the nerves, whether they are entrapped into the fibrous internal scar . may be the separation of the nerves supplying the scrotum will help him a lot. If needed they can be transposed to least tension situation.
This helps in a lot of patients.

Gabapentin or amitryptine may help to reduce the pain .
You may please try acupuncture or acupressure.
