Thanks sachar
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of chronic stiffness in the lips along with stiffness of tongue, upper jaw and restricted movement which is always a matter of concern. Major cause for this seems to be due to dryness of mouth, muscular stiffness and deficiency of vitamin B12 which further causes stiffness of tongue. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult oral pathologist for proper evaluation of the condition and rule out causes like oral thrush. Doctor may take small tissue under lips by scraping for biopsy. Doctor may prescribe iron supplements , prescribe saliva substitute and recommend certain lips and tongue exercises.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
