Suggest Treatment For Coarse Calcification Projecting Over The Central Pelvis Corresponding With The Rim Calcified Fibroid
Hi, I would like to know what the following means.1) There is a 3 millimeter radiodensity projecting over the right mid abdomen approximate level of the right L3-4 disc interspace. 2) There is a coarse calcification measuring approximate 5 centimeters projecting over the central pelvis corresponding with the rim calcified fibroid. Thank You
Calcified fibroids are different only because they typically have become larger than the blood supply that was attributed to the growth. Now that the blood supply has been compromised the tumor degenerates and may become smaller. In this process, calcium is produced and leaves deposits on the mass. The fibroid is now calcified and has a somewhat grainy texture.
Treatment options are myomectomy or hysterectomy or myolysis or ablation.
Please check it out there's is the possibility of vertebra secondaries or osteosclerosis.
Consult your surgeon, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
