Suggest Treatment For Cold And Burning Sensation In The Nose After Having Surgery
hi doctor namasthe....... my name is gnaneswari of age 23.doing bds.am suffering from sinusitis ,granular pharingitis at the same time .one week back i underwent surgery for nose block ie FESS.but now am suffering from cold n burning sensation in the nose.can you help me in that???????????plssssssssss.

hello doctor.
usually during FESS all ur sinuses will be treated to reestablish aeration if the sinuses .
mucosa will be spared .
but at times during the procedure nasal mucosa may be disturbed due to extensive disease .
which causes burning sensation post surgery .
nasoclear saline nasal drops helps to relieve ur symptoms .
drink plenty of water .
do not try to sneeze hard for few days until the mucosa regains normal nature .
