Suggest Treatment For Cold And Cough With Mild Fever

My daughter is having cold and cough and mild fever also there for past 3 days. Due to this she is not taking food properly. We have given T-mint for cold, Mucolite for Cough and Crocin drops for fever.. Still there is no improvement. Please suggest any antibiotics.

Hi,

I have gone through your query.
Cold , cough and fever may be due to upper respiratory tract infection. It can be bacterial or viral in nature. If the cough is dry Mucolite will not help. Rest medicines are correct. If it is bacterial infection, Cefexime (Suspension ZIFI) can be added to it. For viral fever only ongoing symptomatic treatment will work.
To adjust the dose of antibiotic, age and weight of your daughter is needed.
