I ve had what started out as sinus cold ?now have sinus drainage all the time makes me cough and sometimes so bad lose bowls taking Rx cough med and allergy med, + over counter any & all sinus meds I can find. this is going on 2 weeks next appt with dr on Tues
You are having sinus infection which needs to be treated properly with proper antibiotic. Advice 1. Levocetirizine 5 mg daily per oral for 7 days 2. Cefixime 100 mg daily per oral for 7 days 3. Take rest for few days 4. Do gargle with chlorhexidine mouth wash four times daily 5. Do not eat heavily at a time. Eat smaller meals 6. Do not lie down immediately after meal 7. Avoid dust, smoking, alcohol, dry environment, cold and spicy food 8. Avoid coffee and tea after meal 9.
