Suggest Treatment For Cold , Ear Ache And Nasal Congestion

My left ear sounds like a blown out speaker and i can hear the beating when im sitting still. It happened after i had a cold and my nose was stuffed up so to unclog it i used a swab and pushed it into my nasal cavity to dry it up and my ear messed up right after that and has stayed this way for 2 weeks now.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of cold , ear ache and nasal congestion which could be due to three possible causes 1) acute otitis media 2) Upper respiratory tract infection 3) blockage of the Eustachian tube. I would suggest you to take steam inhalation with vaporizers, avoid cold beverages and carbonated drinks and keep sipping warm water. You have take combination of Decongestant nasal drops along with levocetirizine + Montelukast and antibiotic such as azithromycin. Your symptoms will resolve in 4-5 days. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get some routine blood investigation with sputum tests and Chest X- ray to get diagnosed first and start treatment as per diagnosis.
