General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It can be a viral infection of the upper respiratory tract. If cough, runny nose and fever do not present then there is no need for any drug.

Nasal saline drops can be prescribed for cold. If cough and fever develop than investigate with CBC and get his detailed chest evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
