Suggest Treatment For Cold

As per your complain cold occurs commonly due to Upper respiratory tract infection also known as Common cold and it is a viral infection.. As viral infection does not subside with anti viral medication, and resolves once the virus completes its cycle, therefore the treatment given is to relieve the symptoms.. I would suggest you to start taking anti-allergics like benadryl or Levocetrizine, decongestants like Pseudoephadrine, mucolytics like Ambroxol, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen.. Do warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room.. You can use decongestant nasal sprays containing Xylometazoline or Oxymetazoline to relieve congestion.. Avoid spicy and chilled foods and take a soft diet.. Drink plenty of water and preferably warm water and other warm fluids.. You should take a soft diet and ample of rest..
