Suggest Treatment For Conjunctivitis In Infant

3 month old infant who has been suffering from conjunctivitis since leaving hospital after birth. Has been treated with two sets of antibiotics that did not work. Finally had a culture done and as a result we know that he is infected with bacteria known as klebsiella oxytoca. New antibiotic has been prescribed for this bacteria. Is there any chance this bacteria could spread anywhere else in his body?
