General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.
1. If you take above treatment you will have improvement in symptoms.
2. If you have started antibiotics ofloxacin you may continue the course. If not I would suggest to avoid them as you don't seem to be having an infection. Lifestyle changes are needed for total longterm relief.
3. Stool softener Like isabghula powder should be consumed at night or twice if not much improvement.
4. Reduce weight if it is high.
5. Consume 3-4 portions fruits. Have salads with meals. Avoid non-veg foods. Consume atleast 3 litres water daily. Fix a daily time routine for bowel clearing.
6. You may take laxative like cremaffin plus or crex gel 10 ml bedtime if not much relief from above.

Thank you
Take care

General & Family Physician Dr. Amarnath's  Response
welcome to hcm,
short answer : if your problem is only constipation all these drugs are not necessary.
the best thing is to have adequate fibre rich food daily.
train yourself to have regular bowel habits (morning only)
the next comes the medications to relieve constipation which includes
constipation relieving powders, syrups or tablets.
hope this explains
with regards
