Suggest Treatment For Constipation While On Miralax

Hi I took a bad fall and landed on my butt have had pain in stomach but not bad. Also had X-rays of back and not remarkable except for compression fracture with no known Chronocity. Am concerned about constipation. And took two doses of miralax today. Will wait until tomorrow. Advil for pain only three today. Osteoporosis and obesity urine is clear without blood Back an tummy

Miralax is quite effective and quite safe. It increases the fluid in the bowel. Stimulants of gut activity (like Senokot), get the gut used to them and the gut shuts down after they are not taken. Miralax doesn't have this addiction property. Neither do stool softeners like Colace (which is chemical, soap).
