occasional as in once a year or so when I am haveing a bowel movement ,for instance this morning I had a bowel movement ,then felt I wasn't done, I started feeling dread because I knew I was in trouble when I felt all my blood drain to my toes I start gasping for breath I get clammy , nausetated, just feel like I could die. I knew i still had to pass more stool but until the spell passed I had no desire to push until it had passed then I had the desire to push again, I feel weak following and get very pale during these episodes
You should do following things for symptomatic relief in constipation.
1. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
2. Drink lukewarm water especially at night before going to sleep.
3. Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid junk food.
4. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
5. Eat high fiber diet like pulses, vegetables and fruits.
6. Take laxative syrup like (Lactulose) at night before going to sleep.
