Suggest Treatment For Constipation

My daughter took medicine for a uti but the dr called and said they tested it and no bacteria so if she continued to have pain to pee she should see a specialist. So what type of specialist. But now she is having constipation and pain in her right side by her hip

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

Your daughter seems to have recovered from UTI with medicines given to her by your doctor.For the present complaint of constipation,she can take liquid Lactulose 30 ml (20 gm) at bed-time. Lactulose increases stool water content and causes stool softening. May increase to 60 mL/day.
