Suggest Treatment For Constipation

Hi. I've always had trouble with constipation. But this time it's the worst. I haven't been able to go for weeks and since Saturday I've been really tired and extremely nauseous. I don't have insurance so I really don't want to go the E.R. route if I don't have too. But eating anything makes me feel so sick. I've even vomited a few times. Any ideas or suggestions?

hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. As you didn't have a bowel movement for more than 1 week an enema will be needed.Bisacodyl suppositories can be initially tried. If both are not helping then manual removal will be needed as fecoliths might have formed and obstructed.Once you had a bowel movement you can start taking stool softners. You should have more fibre in your diet.Should take lot of water also.Such a way you can manage your regular constipation. If no improvement with these then you should have a colonoscopy and biopsy if needed after consulting a gasteroenterologist to rule out any problems.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
