I have been having stomach issues. I was not able to go to the batthroom & have a bowel movement for almost a week. I was told I was severly impacted. They took an xray of my abodomen to make sure I didn't have a blockage. They found nothing. The gastro dtr has me on metamucil (2x) a day, colace 100g (2x') a day, no milk products, no cheese, no fried foods, 8 glasses of water a day, apricot, prunes & melons. He told me to eat a diet high in fiber. I have been eating a lot of vegatables, fruits & oatmeal. He said I have a lazy colon. I can eat a small amount & I still feel bloated and like I've eaten a whole lot. The feeling is a tightness like I have a band around my stomach. I have been dealing with this since Jan. My bowel movements are better, but the fullness is still their. He checks my colonoscopy completed by another dtr in 2009. What else can I do..thanks
