Hello,

Constipation is very common after surgery. I see that you are already using a stool softener and a fibre-rich diet. I suggest you drink liquids and use an over the counter laxative option such as Colace.

If the symptoms continue you should use suppositories, or enemas to produce a bowel movement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
