Suggest Treatment For Constipation

I am a male, 27 years, vegetarian. I was having constipation 2 days ago and saw blood in my stool. This because of a wound near the anus. I started taking Isabgol (phyllum husk). It still is hurting but not to that great extent. There still seems to be some constriction. What medication should I take?

Hi,

You need a multipronged strategy to stay healthy.

Take plenty of fluids and have a habit of morning exercise but light. Take the fiber-based diet and avoid consumption of meat-based products. Take fresh fruits like apples, pears. You also take isabgol which you are taking. In one or two days it will relieve.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. SOHEEL HUSSAIN ZARGAR,
