Suggest Treatment For Cough And Cold In A Child

Hello dr ... my 2 and a half year daughter is suffering from severe cough .. taking nothing by mouth .. throwing up lot of phlegm while coughing .. dr has given xpect pd and antibiotic .. today is day 2 but the cough is still severe .. any recommendations

Hi,
As antibiotic and cough suppressant is started, gradually it effect will start and she will feel better.
Any antibiotic medicine takes some time to give its effect on infection.
Continue medicine till full course.
