Suggest Treatment For Cough And Sore Throat After Breathing Acid Fumes

On the 5th of this month I was using a cleaning product that i sprayed on the floor and went to wipe it and the fumes or the spray bounced back at me into my throat. I remember caughing right away ad spitting. The feeling was nasty, felt like a coating of something not good. The next day i started with HUGE headaches real bad(that lasted for MANY DAYS) and sore sore throat! and very congested. Also noticed i had a lump that developed near my groin. I went to see a doctor after a few days and thought maybe it was a sinus infection. I did not mention at the time about the chemicals because i didnt think about it. Like i said it was sinus infection symptoms but this came on suddenly and hit hard. The doc said i prob had an infection and that explained the swollen lymph node he said and he gave me all kinds of cold meds and an antibiotic for the infection. Its been 2 weeks and am still with mild cough and sore throat that is off n on, but the tired body feeling is gone, the congestion finally cleared up to a clear mucas just a few days ago but still spitting up mucas in the morning to clear out throat and nose. The swollen lymph node is still there and has gone down just a little bit. (oh forgot to mention at the time i noticed the lymph node in the beginning, i had burning pain DEEP in my lower abs almost the feeling of excercising to hard.) That pain has finally gone away. So i was trying to figure out why this is lasting this long and thats when i thought about well maybe it was due to inhaling the chemicals and didnt realize i poisoned my body. Is there blood work that i should do to see if any damage? I m concerned! Thank you, Cyndi
