I have been having a cough for a month now. Gets bad in p.m. Then again in a.m. That is when I sit and cough up huge phlegm ,until it is all up I do not stop coughing. Then cough through out the day. Just got done having a coughing attack and threw up. I do get bronchitis once or twice a year, which I thought this was when it started. But it's not going away.

Hi thanks for contacting healthcare magic.

Noted here you have bronchitis...
After repeated acute attack our might have chronic bronchitis.

If purulent cough and secondary bacterial infection suspected use antibiotic...
If cough is troublesome then cough suppressant seryp can be used.

In bronchitis lower airway inflamed so respiratory tract narrowed....
To reduce inflammatory swelling steroid or antiinflammatory other drug can used...

Avoid smoking like respiratory irritant.
Use humidifier in room...
Drink more water....

If obstruction more and PFT suggest COPD then inhaler prescrib.

Take care.
