General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Chronic conditions can be associated fatigue either secondary to the condition itself or related to anemia that is due to the condition. You should consider having both a complete blood count and thyroid function test done (low levels of thyroid hormone can cause fatigue).

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
